DON'T MISS THE EXHIBITION “ELSE IN FRANCE” ON THE GRIDS OF THE JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG IN PARIS FROM MARCH 16 TO JULY 14 (ONLY FRANCE)
The ancient Venetian art of glassblowing is still a very much alive activity on the island of Murano. Master glassmakers work in the heat creating intricate designs using historic kilns. They make a glass with exceptional reflections and colors because the silicas, including the sand in particular, is selected for its very fine, very regular and very pure grain. It is a set of recipes kept secret for several centuries to make unique colors.
